MR. JOE ("aku gayat ni jang" !!!)

It's been awhile since i've posted anything other than characters n such..so this here is my depiction of my friend Joe.. a live sketch with a lot of 'cute'ning done.. harhar..he's happy n i'm relieved..

Another unfinished piece.. since i have yet to really really explore Photoshop and such, i only colored it with ...demm, i forgot!..ah, its either with pencil color or water color..call me old-school but those were the only things i got at home at that time.. and as you can see, i'm not really good with colors... but that don't mean i gave up already...you just wait..and see...soon...
This particular character is an uncle to another character i made (which i haven't shown in this blog yet..) that belongs to a big mafia-like family of humanoid cats/tiger/feline..(yup, not a thing that can relate him to the Thundercats.. ;]) hmmm, that don't explain him much, but hey, i'm sure you'll recognize a warrior and a good guy when you see one...rite?!

"Shake A Leg..."

This sketch is one of my effort in trying to find a right and (maybe) logical way to draw a mechanical leg..my only reference at that time was an action figure (toy) with a very limited articulation point..i might do better if i got a Terminator skeleton robot though...hehe...but hey, people crawl bfore they run, rite? :]

SEWER CHASE!!!

One of my high school doodles..
The guy that being chased i think i named him Cyclone at that time..he was/is supposed to be a cop or an enforcer...or something(?)..
The guy on the right is his superior officer and the guy with the net is a badguy's henchman..or something(?)...and the thing that Cyclone is holding..its something important..hehe...think kablooey important..

p/s: yes, i noticed...the water effects equals utter crap..

Barricade(s)

Not much to tell about this Barricade character..except that he used to be a soldier and then moved on to be a mercenary..but he's definitely, definitely one of the bad guys..ngehehe..i created the character just for the sake of testing my inking..and as always, my inkings were sloppy and dirty..they lack the confidence it desperately need..and me, i desperately need a mentor if i really want to improve..

Awkward Pilot Guy

I tried to do a full formed n rendered character..but the result, as you can see, is a character with an awkward pose...due to bad planning, i'm sure..
the right foot + leg was bad..and made the character off balance..
his arms...urgghhh..
need i say more?

hehe..maybe some other time..

Elekuturiku Kaijin

I tried to make a better and improved version of Mighty Riders but..i later thought that its no use..the characters/heroes are not even mine..and i'm still not any good in writing stories..i had better move on..to somewhere...errm..or to something..

p/s: i still think that the new monster looks cooler...waaayyyy cooler...what do u think?

Something From The Old Closet..

As embarassing as it look, i had to show these out..
They were my comic tribute to the hero i adore when i was primary school, aged around 10-12 then..Hey, its Suria Perkasa Hitam man..gotta love it!! Masked Rider Black!! Tendangan padu maut!!!
On a piece of drawing paper that was folded, i have a 4 page per issue of the cheesy-ly named "Mighty Riders", a 11-12issue run and classmates as my reader and supporter..
A year ago, i showed the whole set 2 my housemates, and demm..we got something to laugh about for the whole night! Yup, they sure can recognize absurdity when they see one..lol..

At least i got it out of my system..huhf..

my SUPERHERO PROJECT?

This is one of my trial page i've done when i was still in school.. supposedly a collaboration with a good friend of mine.. roughly, this ambitious project started in 1997, a two school boys attempt to try and copy their favourite comics at that time, the X-men..we parted ways in '98, each going to different boarding schools and the project had to be halted..
and uh..this page was drawn in '99..out of boredom and to keep the fire burnin'..
10years later, i might see some sparks left..somewhere...

If you knew about the PowerPuffGirls, then you'd definitely knew that there are 3 of them...
however, in my version, the PawaPuffedGrrr, there's only 2...Blossom and Bubbles..."where's Buttercup?" you asked...well, i killed her...i meant, i made the Israel's bombs stuffed her mouth and exploded...leaving poor ol' Buttercup headless and lifeless...
"why her?" you asked..coz i like her...and i just wanted to see how the other 2 siblings cope with her death...according to my 'say-so' laa..ngeheh..
that's why i imagined Blossom and Bubbles got so mad and angry with Buttercup's death, they somehow evolved(..coz i don't think "transformed" is the answer i seek..lol)...becoming a 'hulk-like' monster babes...
those mechanical hands are a result to too much punching the badguys(the Israelis) and they forced their dad 2 replace the original worn ones...
and so the story goes..(?)

Premature Animation Key Study.....watever that is??!!

simply put, it was a school work.. we got to do animation but theres nobody to teach us about it..me being a lazy student, simply and ignorantly interprated animation as "only moving pictures"..so, for every key drawing i put, there's an in'themiddle'ner.. my version of inbetween/ib..the result was a stiff and awkward crap...
i'm sorry i couldn't show it here coz i dont have a copy of the finished thing..

i never got to really pinpoint the answer, but whatdaheck, lets just sum it up as characters that are drawn cutely..
(truth is, i'm so lazy to think and to type the words..heheh..)
and what my manga crap look like, is as far as i can go in doing cute things..

I ruffed as quickly as i can, but the sun was setting, and i need to get down to the foothill before its dark....coz who brings a torchlight when climbing a hill on broad daylight? But a person do bring a camera to a scenic place...ngehehe... so i took a picture, in the closest angle of my sketch...and some other pics too, as quickly as i can...and, run down the hill to my bike, start the engine, and get home... as quickly as i can..
